Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State started his political campaign by lying to the people of Imo State that thousands of Imo State indigenes would be sent to Europe to work if he would be re-elected to office as governor of Imo State. According to him, all arrangements have been concluded with some companies in Europe for this project. But the truth is that Governor Hope Uzodinma has made no such arrangements anywhere. This is based on our findings. Another unfortunate aspect of this story is that during the campaign speech, there were lots of people cheering and clapping for Governor Hope Uzodinma out of ignorance while he was speaking on this issue. This brings us to this question: when will Nigerian leaders stop deceiving the people of their various states, knowing full well that all they are saying to them cannot be fulfilled? Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State is among Nigeria’s most terrible governors and has nothing to offer the people of his state. Hence, the Viewers Corner News team is calling on voters in Imo State to reject Governor Hope Uzodinma’s second tenure completely. Again, re-electing Governor Hope Uzodinma for another tenure is renewing poverty and insecurity in Imo State and the South East in general, so the people of Imo State should be guided.
