Viewers Corner News team gathered recently that few people in Nigeria are suggesting to president Buhari’s government to seek economic advice from the former finance minister, Dr. Ngozi Oknojo Iweala. This is laughable and anyone making such suggestion is not being fair to president Buhari and his government because Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was part of ex-president Obasanjo’s government but she was dropped for reasons best known to ex-president Obasanjo who is a wise. When ex-president Goodluck Jonthan came to power, he went and brought Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala back and made her the finance minister of Nigeria, her activities as the former finance minister under ex-president Goodluck Jonathan was nothing to write home about. She should have advised ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and his government on what to do as the finance minister of the country then but she never did. Under her watch, trillions of Nigeria hard earned money were stolen and nothing was done to stop it, we regard this attitude as incompetence. Such a person should never take part in running the affairs of the country (Nigeria), not now and not in the future. Even if she did not embezzle any money assuming, but she should have blocked those corrupt individuals during her tenure from looting the Nigeria treasury. She has the power to do it as at that time or she can cry out to the Nigerian public by telling them what was going on in the government and not keeping quite until things went so bad. Again keeping quite shows that she was also part of the corrupt team because she knew what was happening then but refused to speak out. If she was scared, may be if she expose those who were corrupt under the government which she was part of as at that time, she might get hurt, if that was the reason then she should have resigned. This is what great people do everywhere in the world and not managing the government with those corrupt individuals that never cared about the welfare of the ordinary Nigerian citizens, perhaps you were hanging on there because of quest for power who knows. Therefore anyone with such attitude which we (Viewers Corner News team) have just described briefly here would never be a good leader and this may be the reason no one would ever need your advice in the country not now and not in the future most probably. If your advice were that good, ex-president GoodLuck Jonathan would have done things differently. The wrong economic policies which you (Dr.Ngozi Okonjo Iweala) and ex-president Goodluck Jonathan created in the past is what the Nigerian people are passing through today because P.D.P/Goodluck Jonathan led government were carried away by corruption which you (Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala) knew and could not stop or give a useful advice on how to stop it so that the country (Nigeria) can move in the right direction. Like we said above, such attitude of yours was wrong and unacceptable.
