The governors in Nigeria are the main enemies of the Nigerian people. They formed a governors’ forum, pretending to be working in the interest of the people of Nigeria. But in the real sense, they are there for their own selfish interests, to decide who becomes who in their various states and Nigeria. They use the forum to manipulate the people of their various states to support agendas that favour them alone. Nigerians should also remember that each state governor has only one vote, like every other person in Nigeria. The people of Nigeria should remember that without them, who are the voters, no governor will come to office as an elected leader. So why are they allowing them to manipulate and use Nigerians to fill up their pockets while leaving the people of their various states in abject poverty? This is bad. If you look at most states in Nigeria, you will find that billions of naira that the federal government of Nigeria pays each state as a monthly allocation have not been properly utilized, and no one cares to ask these governors where all of these funds went. Governors in Nigeria are unable to create jobs. They do not pay workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances properly. With the recent happenings in Nigeria, we are convinced that the youths of Nigeria and others are awake now and will no longer allow these corrupt leaders to put them in cages. The era of “I will follow the governor of my state to vote for his choice of candidate” is coming to an end. Nigerian voters should have the mindset of making a decision that will change their states for good. The elderly politicians in Nigeria have caused too many problems in the country. It is time to let them know that no one can push the youths of Nigeria for too long. Again, the 2023 election will change Nigeria for good if visionary leaders, both at state and national levels, are elected to direct the affairs of the country.
