This is a question every progressive and peace loving Nigerian should ask himself/herself. During his active days, Alhaji Bola Tinubu campaigned against some old politicians. He said that they were too old to be appointed to positions of authority in Nigeria. He even went as far as to say that some of them cannot recognize a computer keyboard in the twenty-first century. The politicians, Alhaji Bola Tinubu was mocking then were between the ages of 76 and 83 years old. Alhaji Bola Tinubu, who is the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate was absolutely right, but now he is old and can not even lift up his political party’s flag without someone assisting him, we expect him to retire from politics. Alhaji Bola Tinubu most often forgets the name of his political party. How can he now want the people of Nigeria to elect him as president of the country? Somehow, knowing how and when to exit a position is part of what makes one a great leader, which Alhaji Bola Tinubu and his campaign team are yet to understand. Again, with all the controversies surrounding his name, home town, schools he attended, and his real age, his family and close friends should have advised him to retire from politics and remain an elder statesman. The Viewers Corner News team is convinced that Alhaji Bola Tinubu can not get enough votes to enable him to win the presidency of Nigeria in 2023. This is the truth, take it or leave it.
