Myanmar is free at last after fifty years of military rule in the country, democracy is at work. What a great joy for the people of Myanmar who never thought a day would come where every individual in the country would have the privilege to express their opinion on issues without fear of being arrested or killed. Htin Kyaw is the new leader of Myanmar, we pray and hope he leads well. Some of the citizens told our (Viewers corner) correspondent that one of the reasons they were crying to have a democratic government is that laws would no longer be imposed on the people by the military juntas and now that democracy has come to stay, every issue would follow a democratic process which would carefully be discussed and agreed upon taken into consideration the voice of the people of Myanmar.
Viewers corner agree with them and at the same time plead with the new leader not to forget the people of Myanmar because under the military rule, they suffered so much and now that democracy has finally come to the country president Htin Kyaw should try his best to create facilities for the people of the country which the military juntas denied them in the past. Please stay away from corruption because is a dangerous disease that can ruin a country.
