Joe Biden

JOE BIDEN, THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR THE UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION HAS BEEN CERTIFIED WINNER OF PENNSYLVANIA PRESIDENTIAL VOTE.

The Department of State on Tuesday certified Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election in Pennsylvania. The president-elect Joe Biden was certified after three weeks of vote counting and series of failed legal challenges by President Donald Trump who refused to concede defeat to president-elect Joe Biden. It was reported that a certificate of ascertainment was sent to the national archivist Washington with the slate of electors who support President-elect Biden and vice president-elect Kamala Harris. Joe Biden’s win in Pennsylvania made it possible for his win against President Trump. Pennsylvania’s win gave Joe Biden 20 electoral votes which put him over the needed 270. In Pennsylvania, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got 3.46 million votes against President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence with 3.38 million. The president-elect Joe Biden got overall 306 electoral votes against President Trump’s 232. President Trump made Pennsylvania the battleground for his unsuccessful legal challenges to invalidate the presidential election results. He also launched legal attacks on vote counting rules and county election procedures, but a federal judge on Saturday dismissed the lawsuit, said that President Trump lacks evidence.
