The federal government of Nigeria has taken too much loan from China. Most Nigerians both home and abroad have been asking series of questions concerning these loans. According to those who spoke to Viewers Corner News correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria), they said that the only visible project seen on ground at the moment is that of the rail but other loans taken from China have not reflected in growing the economy of the country (Nigeria). Could it be that those loans were used to service some overdue debts created by past governments? Some Nigerians are requesting that any loan that would not yield profit to the country when taking should completely be avoided because such loan may have terrible effect in the economy which would seriously affect the future generation of Nigerians. Again, ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar spoke nicely concerning the loan issue, he said that any loan that would not yield profit to the country (Nigeria) should not be taken which is absolutely correct. We (Viewers Corner News team) have in the past written articles on this topic, pleading with the federal government of Nigeria to be careful on issues of loan so that in future, it would not bring problems to the country (Nigeria). It is better to look within the country and make do with what is available to solve problems. Loan should only be taking when every aspect to raise money for projects within the country (Nigeria) is no longer there.
