FORMER NNPC BOSS ALLEGED THAT THE HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY FOUND IN HIS HOME WAS A GIFT PRESENTED TO HIM. WHAT A HORRIBLE STATEMENT.

Viewers Corner News team have seen how those appointed to head various government parastatals in Nigeria turned out to be greedy, wicked and very corrupt individuals working only to enrich themselves, leaving majority of the people of the country (Nigeria) to suffer hardship and poverty. We (Viewers Corner News team) have written articles concerning this topic in the past and would continue to do so until those in positions of authority in the country (Nigeria) are made to pay severely for scamming Nigeria. If those senior government officials scamming the country (Nigeria) are not made to pay for their offences, Nigeria may not change for good. The ex-Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) boss, Andrew Yakubu alleged that the huge amount of money found in his home was a gift. If he is honest, what work did he render that would warrant such huge gift? If the country (Nigeria) wants to end corruption, this is the question the ex-NNPC boss would have to answer. He should be properly investigated so as to ascertain the source of such huge gift. Look at Kaduna refinery in Nigeria for example, such huge venture is always running at a loss and no one is talking about it. The same also goes to other national ventures which may have contributed to why Nigeria is borrowing money every time from the international community to service some of the unprofitable ventures in the country (Nigeria). Again, some of those individuals heading various government businesses in Nigeria are sharing the money among themselves and at the end, losses would be declared. Then the next business quarter, the federal government of Nigeria would earmark some huge amount of money from the borrowed money to keep on financing such unprofitable ventures. Nigeria needs a complete overhaul of all her activities to know where and how mistakes were made and in which area of operation, so that such loopholes can be blocked. This is one of the ways to get unwanted agents out of the system which we (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to campaign for because it is our wish for Nigeria as a country to take a centre stage in the world’s economy. Viewers Corner News team believe that Nigeria can achieve that if the leadership of Nigeria can eradicate or reduce corruption to the lowest level in the country (Nigeria).
