This is injustice, a sin against God and man. Until those in charge of running the affairs of Nigeria change their double standard ways and start doing the right thing, Nigeria as a country may not move forward. Truth is the key to what we seek and should be told at all times which we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to leaders in Nigeria to follow. Our (Viewers Corner News team) findings revealed that Mrs patience Jonathan (former first lady of Nigeria) looted billions of Naira from the treasury of the country (Nigeria) which a fraction of it has already been recovered by the federal government of Nigeria. Mrs Patience Jonathan (former first lady of Nigeria) was never elected to any position in the country (Nigeria) but she stole more than those elected to run the affairs of Nigeria because the husband (Mr Goodluck Jonathan) was the president of the country (Nigeria) which is bad. Now let us look at prisons across Nigeria, there are lots of people who are languishing there for little offences they committed which would have taken them to REHABILITATION centres but because they have no one to fight their cases, it has become impossible to get them out of the prison which is not fair. Again, look at Mrs Ngozi Olejeme, a mother and a politician who stole billions of Naira and use part of her loots to build mansions for herself in choice areas of the country (Nigeria). She could not be given the required punishment she deserves and so many of them like that in Nigeria while majority of Nigerians are suffering severe hardships as a result of what these looters committed in the past which has been the major reason the economy of Nigeria is in a terrible situation till today. When President Buhari was elected to office, Nigerians both home and abroad thought that he was going to help the less privilege Nigerians get justice by putting those who stole money belonging to the people of Nigeria into jail through the law court after they may have been convicted of wrongdoings but up till today, those expectations are fast fading away. Look at the alleged sixteen billion dollar to give the people of Nigeria electricity under ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, till today no steady light in Nigeria and the money (sixteen billion dollar) is no where to be found. In few years time, President Buhari’s tenure as the president of Nigeria will end and another president would be elected who shall come with his promises that may not be fulfilled. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to President Buhari who we know very well in the 80’s as a man with zero tolerance of corruption to kindly set up a standard platform which the incoming leaders would work on, most especially on issue of corruption before his tenure ends because this is one of the areas that is bringing the economy of Nigeria backward. We (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to plead with President Buhari to get real on the issue of corruption so that whoever that would take over from him when his tenure of office ends would have a good starting point to fight those who are dangerously looting the treasury of the country (Nigeria).
