A 23-year-old Danish citizen named Amir Faten Mekky who had been escaping police arrest across Europe for years was recently arrested in Dubai. Amir Faten Mekky was allegedly involved in gang-related crime in southern Sweden, killings and explosions in Spain. According to the information our correspondent in Dubai gathered, special forces raided Mekky’s house on Thursday, 4 June 2020 in an early morning operation. Amir Faten Mekky is a Danish citizen of Iranian origin, he was arrested after a joint investigation between Spain and Sweden, with help from Interpol, Europol, Thailand, Dubai and Qatar.
