AN IRISH COMPANY (TIMAERO) FILES A LAWSUIT AGAINST BOEING, SEEKING AT LEAST $185 MILLION IN DAMAGES.

It was reported that Boeing has been hit with another lawsuit over troubled 737 Max jets. According to the report, an Irish company Timaero that leases and sells aircraft recently filed a lawsuit against Boeing in a US district court. The company allegedly seeks that the court cancels its order for 22 Boeing’s 737 Max jets and collect at least $185 million in damages. The company accused Boeing of fraudulently selling troubled aircraft. It also said that Boeing failed to disclose the safety issues associated with the design of the 737 Max. This is another blow to Boeing as it is planning to stop production of the 737 Max in January 2020. In August, an aircraft leasing company in Russia (Avia) filed a lawsuit against Boeing, seeking to cancel an order of 35 Boeing’s 737 Max.
