Our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in Lagos (Nigeria) revealed to us how some Nigerian police officers in the country are harassing and brutalising the people of Nigeria. Recently, the SARS as they are called had a young man beaten, even went as far as to seize his phone after nothing incriminating was found with him. It was also alleged that the SARS had wanted the man to unlock his phone so that they can go through it which is not right. They can only do that if there is warrant from the court of law to do so but no such power was given to the SARS, meaning that they took advantage of their uniform to keep on harassing and brutalising the people of the country (Nigeria). This terrible act has been going on within Nigeria for quite some time, hence we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to please put SARS on check. The privacy of every human being should be protected which is their right. SARS in Nigeria should take note of that.
