It will be nice if the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal would be prosecuted. It is a well known fact even though it has not yet been proven in any court of law in Nigeria that Mr Babachir Lawal who was Nigeria’s former SGF under president Buhari’s government allegedly embezzled huge sum of money and this money was for the displaced victims of Boko Haram extremist group. An elderly man (Mr Babachir Lawal) who is supposed to protect those that were badly hurt which he failed to do, instead he embezzled their money. Such a man (Mr Babachir Lawal) should have a residence in the prison yard.
Mr Babachir Lawal was also a very close friend of governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state when he (Mr Babachir Lawal) was the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). During this period, governor David Umahi allegedly gave lots of gift items including money to Mr Babachir Lawal so that he can assist governor David Umahi to get access to the federal government based on our (Viewers Corner News) findings, making him (Mr Babachir Lawal) a very corrupt human being who does not care about the welfare of others but himself alone. Therefore, prosecuting him (Mr Babachir Lawal) for corruption is quite appropriate.
Finally, the federal government of Nigeria should please get hard on corruption because it is one of the worst diseases that has prevented the country (Nigeria) from moving forward.
