We have written articles concerning the poor nature of Lagos-Ibadan express road and we are doing so again. Our recent working tour in Lagos state has shown that the bad road of Lagos-Ibadan express is still there without the federal government of Nigeria paying much attention to fix it. There are lots of potholes on the road which can cause problems to the road users. This road is being used by millions of Nigerians on daily basis and should be kept in the best of ways, hence we (Viewers Corner News) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to kindly get the road repaired.
It is a well known fact that president Buhari’s government is doing his best to get Nigeria working better but then certain areas need urgent attention because they affect the daily lives of millions of Nigerians. We would also use this opportunity to plead with the federal government of Nigeria to instruct those contractors handling such projects to maintain a certain standard during construction so as to meet international reqirements. If roads in Nigeria are built to a very high standard, it will last a long period of time before any repair work can be done but when companies without much knowledge of road construction are engaged in handling such projects, it will not do well because all sorts of low quality materials are being used and within a short period of time, the road would not be fit for use again.
Please save the lives of those using Nigeria roads on daily basis by having them repaired.
