President Buhari has the support of majority of Nigerians which is likely going to give him a great victory come 2019 based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings but the issue most Nigerians both home and abroad hold against him and his government is that the fight against corruption is not being fought the way it should be. Look at some politicians who secretly stole millions of dollars and kept in their various hide-outs which was revealed in the past, up till today nothing has been done concerning that. Look at the case of Mr Abdulrasheed Maina (ex-pension fund boss) who was accused of wrong doings, till today nothing has been heard about it. Some corrupt Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members who had various cases to answer, immediately they moved over to All progressives Congress (APC), their cases are no longer news. Recently, Adams Oshiomhole who is the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) through his agents was involved in a huge scandal concerning the manner in which the Party’s (APC) primaries were conducted. It was alleged that millions of dollars was paid to him and his agents to have the APC primaries manipulated, until today the matter is being handled in a manner which is not acceptable to the people of Nigeria and so many others. Sincerely, any government that wants to fight corruption and have his country (Nigeria) liberated from such system should not spare any corrupt individual no matter how close the person in question may be to you. Even if the corrupt individual is not sent to jail but let certain facilities be taking away from such corrupt people. They should be banned from politics in Nigeria if found guilty and their assets be seized because they may have been acquired through corrupt means. With this, those who may be planning to loot the treasury of the country (Nigeria) would have a second thought before embarking on such journey. Honestly most of what we (Viewers Corner News team) have described in this article is part of why most Nigerians both home and abroad are having bias mind towards president Buhari and his government. On the other hand, president Buhari himself is a man of integrity and can not steal money belonging to the country (Nigeria) which again shall guarantee his re-election to office come 2019.
