Governor Ayodele Peter Fayose of Ekiti state shall soon be leaving office. He has been known all over the country (Nigeria) as a trash talking governor which Nigerians both home and abroad would miss most probably. Now hear this; Our (Viewers Corner News team) recent findings revealed that the government of Ayodele Peter Fayose would leave behind a huge sum of over 100 billion Niara debt for the incoming governor (Dr. Kayode Fayemi) to carry. Honestly, this is huge. How would the administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi settle this debt (Over 100 billion Naira) and at the same time solve other issues facing Ekiti state (Nigeria)?
Our (Viewers Corner News team) main purpose of writing this article is to plead with Nigerian voters to be mindful of who they vote into office to run the affairs of their states. Think properly before casting your votes for any candidate. Remove sentiment aside, vote only for a candidate that would get the job done. If any voter is confused on who to vote for, please ask questions about your choice of candidate then you would properly be informed before finally making a decision whether to vote for the person or not. This situation in Ekiti state (Nigeria) is also affecting other states across the country (Nigeria). Governors took loans in the past from various financial institutions without thinking of how to settle them, thereby leaving the incoming governor with huge sum of debt to carry and most debt owing governors have not been able to pay workers salaries and pensioners allowance for months if not years because they have no knowledge of what leadership is all about. They collect monthly allocations from the federal government of Nigeria including other funds and spend them recklessly and carelessly on irrelevant issues and the rest goes into their pockets leaving the people of their various states to suffer severe economic hardship which is bad.
Now that Nigerians are heading towards election season to choose their leaders, we (Viewers Corner News team) are pleading with them to choose wisely so as to avoid the mistakes of the past. If you choose wrongly, the hardship continues but if you choose wisely, then your living condition becomes great. The decision to make your life better is solely in your hands and not in the hand of any politician. It is your decision, use it wisely by voting the right leaders to various offices across the country (Nigeria).
