Viewers Corner News source in Amman (Jordan) informed us that 15 death row prisoners have been hanged by Jordan. According to the information, five of those hanged were convicted of abominable crimes including rape while the remaining ten were convicted of terrorism offences. All these were Jordanians and were hanged in Suaga prison (south of Amman). This is highest hanging done by the country in years, Jordan stiffened her law on death penalty after Maaz al-Kassasbeh (a Jordanian pilot) whose plane crashed in a jihadist-held region of Syria in December 2014 while serving with a US-led coalition was burnt alive inside a cage by the DAESH terrorist group. Afterward, Jordan hanged two people convicted of terrorism offences and one of them was Sajida al-Rishawi (She took part in a 2005 suicide attack in Amman hotels organised by DAESH terrorist group but her explosives failed to detonate). In December 2014, eleven men convicted of murder were also hanged by the country (Jordan).
